虽然各厂商不怎么公布下载软件的销售数据，但据推算2009年Xbox Live Arcade游戏的市场总额为1亿340万美元，其中《战地1943》一款软件就占据了约10%，可以看出下载游戏销售好坏的差别非常之大。
